Tour Overview
The Sariska Tiger Reserve, one of Rajasthan's most well-known national parks, is situated in the Alwar district and is famous for its beautiful forests. The area was included in Project Tiger and declared as a Tiger Reserve in 1978.
Famously, Sariska was the first reserve in the world to relocate tigers successfully. Jaipur is around 120 kilometres away from the national park, which has a total area of 273.8 sq. km.
Know Before You Go
- For safaris, the whole permit cost needs to be paid before.
- Every guest must present identification, and the ID you used to make the reservation must be carried with you.
- A reservation is not exchangeable or transferable to another person.
- Foreign tourists who are not Indians must have their passport data in order to make reservations.
- Indian nationals may exchange any legitimate government document—such as a passport, voter ID, Aadhaar, or DL—during the reservation procedure.
- If there are safari permits available, they are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If your safari is not scheduled for any reason, such as technical difficulties or seat availability, we will return the whole fee to the bank account you supplied. You'll receive the appropriate information.
- Without giving visitors advance notice, the state forest department may close the park.
- If a charge is revised after booking, visitors will be expected to pay the difference at the time of park entry.
- When you book your safari at the national park, we function as your travel agent. We are not liable for any mishaps, injuries, thefts, or fatalities that occur during the safari trip.
- We are not in charge of choosing the naturalist guide or safari driver. The Forest Department's automatic roster system makes such a determination.
- The day of the safari is also the day that the vehicle allotment (boarding pass) is granted.
- 90 days before the departure date, reservations can be made.
- Gypsy (6-seater) and Canter (20-seater) are the two vehicles available for safari in Sariska.
- For a small fee, passengers can arrange for pick-up and drop-off from surrounding hotels or arrive at the boarding point 30 minutes before the safari's planned departure.

Best Time To Visit
The park is most enjoyable in the winter, from October to March when the weather is ideal, and you can see large animals engaging in a lot of daily activity. Peak wintertime temperatures can drop as low as three degrees Celsius.
In addition, summer is a great time to go if you want to go for photos. At this time of year, the jungle provides clear, sharp photographic opportunities because the grass and shrubs have dried out. Temperatures can soar to as high as 47 degrees Celsius. If travellers can handle the heat, this is the ideal time to see a lot of wildlife.
Sariska National Park is best visited in the winter, which runs from October to February. These months experience a range of temperatures from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. The summer months of March through June see extremely hot temperatures that often reach 49 degrees Celsius. From June to September, the park is closed for the monsoon season.

How To Reach
By Air: Jaipur is the closest international airport, approximately 107 km away from Sariska and a two-and-a-half-hour trip. The second-closest international airport is in Delhi, which is around 225.6 kilometers (four hours' driving). There are frequent flights from the airport to both domestic and foreign locations. At the airport, cabs and taxis are accessible. Booking in advance is advised.
By Rail: The closest train station is Alwar, which is around 37 kilometers from the Sariska Reserve Entry Gate. The nearest station to descend into a large metropolis is Jaipur Station. It merely takes two hours to travel by rail from Jaipur Junction to Alwar Station. Delhi is also well-connected to Alwar Junction.
By Road: Sariska is conveniently accessible by road because of its strategic location on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. The reserve is 37 km away from Alwar, 107 km away from Jaipur (by NH21), and 225.6 km away from Delhi (via NE4).
